Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, and a proven track record of managing and overseeing financial operations.

The successful Financial Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, monitoring performance against targets, and making data-driven adjustments as necessary. They will also work closely with other teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and provide insights to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Expense Management: Manage expenses effectively, analyzing cost structures, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing strategies to control and reduce expenditure while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial activities, including timely submission of tax returns, minimizing tax liabilities, and maximizing available deductions.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, assess their potential impact on the organization, and implement strategies to mitigate risks, safeguard assets, and protect the financial health of the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
