About the Position

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills to join our team as a Senior Billing Specialist.

This role requires you to be the primary point of contact for all billing-related inquiries, including processing charges, researching outstanding billing items, generating invoices, preparing itemized invoices, and reviewing and validating refunds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee account billing status by resolving inconsistencies and errors in billing.
  • Analyze billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtaining missing or corrected data when necessary.
  • Create and customize invoices as needed.
  • Review and validate credits and refunds, issue refunds, and address payment disputes and chargebacks.
  • Evaluate the billing process and recommend improvements where applicable.
  • Ensure proper cutoff periods for month-end closing procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related support cases.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a billing or billing-related field.
  • An independent self-starter who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well in ambiguous situations, solve problems, and think on your feet.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
