Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned electrical engineer to take on a senior leadership role in the construction supervision and commissioning of electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As the Resident Engineer Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of various electrical equipment and systems.
  • You will lead a team of electrical engineers and contractors, coordinating their efforts to ensure project completion milestones are met.
  • Monitoring quality and progress of works at site, participating in weekly progress meetings, and reviewing/approving electrical 'as-built' drawings for submission to clients.
  • Managing the preparation of punch lists for electrical equipment installed at project sites for submission/discussion with clients.

Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities are essential to manage a team of electrical engineers and contractors effectively.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in construction supervision, particularly in the commissioning of power plants above 300 MW capacity.
  • At least 20 years of experience in the electrical engineering field, including O&M experience of coal-fired power plants.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

A B.Sc. Engineering (Electrical) graduate is required for this position. A Master's degree or higher is preferred but not necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
