Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile TB project in Pakistan. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in public health program management and a proven track record of leading complex projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership & Management: Develop and implement project strategies to achieve program goals.
  • Financial Oversight & Compliance: Ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • People Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in TB programming.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, donors, and international partners.
  • Fundraising & Sustainability: Identify new funding opportunities and ensure long-term sustainability of the project.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public health program management.
  • Previous experience as a Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, or Project Director on a USAID-funded project preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in tuberculosis (TB) programming.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Pakistan preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex operations under donor regulations in a low- or middle-income country (LMIC).
  • Strong financial and grants management skills, including oversight of sub-grants.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with government agencies, donors, and international partners.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
