Job Title: Financial Planning Specialist

A seasoned professional in financial planning and management, dedicated to delivering expert advice on taxation, accounting, and financial reporting.

An accomplished Financial Planning Specialist assists clients in making informed decisions about their financial futures, providing guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Period Closing: Ensuring smooth period-end closing processes, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly workings.
  • Accounts Projections: Developing and maintaining accurate accounts projections for short-term and long-term planning.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Dealings: Managing bank relationships, reconciliations, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Purchases & Accounts Payables, Sales & Receivables Management: Overseeing purchasing, accounts payable, sales, and receivables functions to optimize cash flow and reduce costs.
  • Aging Analysis and Irregularities Assessment: Analyzing account aging reports to identify trends and irregularities, ensuring prompt resolution and minimization of losses.
  • General Ledgers Preparation and Authorization: Maintaining accurate general ledgers, preparing financial reports, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Payroll, Leave settlements, Gratuity, Increments, Promotions, and Final Settlements: Coordinating payroll activities, leave settlements, gratuity, increments, promotions, and final settlements with HR and finance teams.

Additionally, a Financial Planning Specialist:

  • Develops and implements financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases.
  • Monitors and analyzes financial performance to inform business decisions.
