Lead Furniture Innovator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D leader to drive product innovation through cutting-edge strategies and methods.

This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to create market-driven furniture designs, conducting thorough market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products.

Candidates will collaborate with product management and marketing to define product specifications and ensure successful launches, oversee the development and testing of new products, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative R&D strategies to drive product development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop market-driven furniture products.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer needs.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to define product specifications and launch plans.
  • Oversee product testing and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D within the furniture or related manufacturing sector.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools for creating prototypes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with modern manufacturing processes and materials.
