Imagining a harmonious synergy of technology and business, we are seeking an accomplished Data Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of a cutting-edge Business Intelligence solution.

The ideal candidate will excel in crafting a robust Data Lake and delivering curated organizational data to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Create cohesive Incorta schemas, business views, and dashboards for rapid data ingestion and real-time analytics.
  • Foster seamless integration of Incorta with existing Data Warehouse and Power BI workflows to ensure unified and efficient reporting.
  • Develop and manage multiple data zones, including Landing Zone, Curated Data Zone, Reference & Lookup Data Zone, and Business Views / Semantic Layer.
  • Build ETL pipelines using SSIS, Incorta, and other tools to cleanse, validate, and conform data.
  • Precision-engineer Data Warehouse/Data Lake schemas with indexing, relationships, historical tracking (SCD), and partitioning to optimize performance.
  • Leverage Power BI to connect data sources, apply advanced data shaping and modeling techniques (DAX, Power Query), and implement role-based access control.
  • Incorporate diverse data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, APIs, and cloud services with Incorta and Power BI.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, flows, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to provide regular updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Data Architect or Data Engineer with advanced skills in data modeling and architecture.
  • Proven knowledge of the Incorta Data Platform, including schema design, data ingestion, and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in Power BI with strong skills in DAX and Power Query for advanced reporting.
  • Experience designing and managing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with layered zones.
  • Skilled in ETL development using SSIS and other tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, indexing, partitioning, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).
  • Knowledge of data security best practices, role-based access, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
