Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence professional to lead our team in creating and refining Framework Manager models to meet business needs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for enhancing business intelligence, focusing on data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Cognos dashboards, scorecards, reports, and queries based on user requirements, utilizing data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
  • Maintain and support the Data Warehouse using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques, ensuring timely execution of scheduled jobs and alignment of analytics data with completeness and timeliness requirements.
  • Collaborate with power users to provide guidance on best practices for leveraging Business Intelligence tools, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Optimize database performance for reporting purposes, leveraging expertise in SQL and stored procedures to improve query efficiency and reduce latency.
  • Install, upgrade, configure, and administer BI products/patches/upgrades within the environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Cognos BI product suite, including Report Studio, Analysis Studio, and Query Studio, as well as Oracle Report Builder.
  • Performance tuning expertise related to reporting queries, including optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Understanding of data integration issues, including validation and cleaning, as well as familiarity with complex data structures.
  • Excellent communication skills for successful collaboration within project environments involving internal, external, and customer teams.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Programming/scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle are desirable, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training will be considered.
