The position of Clinical Nutrition Specialist involves performing a variety of clinical and operational duties in the hospital setting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate nutritional assessments and planning for therapeutic patients.

Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of patient data, adhering to food safety standards, and reporting concerns to supervisors.

This Clinical Nutrition Specialist will perform nutritional assessments, plan oral and enteral feeding regimes, and supervise patient meal assembly and distribution. They must maintain confidentiality of patient data and report food safety issues or other complaints to their supervisor.

Furthermore, this specialist will ensure the safe use of computer networks, report system breakdowns, and perform responsibilities in line with clinical nutrition policies and procedures under management guidance.

They will also provide nutritional counseling to in-patients under supervision, conduct post-meal rounds, calculate and plan enteral nutrition support, inspect patient meal assembly operations, assess trainee performance, and perform any other related tasks assigned by senior clinical nutrition staff.
