Senior Programme Coordinator – Capacity Building Pakistan

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Programme Coordinator to lead our capacity building measures in Pakistan. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for sustainable development and a proven track record of managing complex programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in leading teams and working with partners to deliver high-impact results. They will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to improve the sustainability of cotton farming practices, as well as providing technical assistance to farmers and farm workers.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategies to improve the sustainability of cotton farming practices.
  • Provide technical assistance to farmers and farm workers to improve their knowledge and skills.
  • Manage relationships with programme partners and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain databases and reports to track programme progress and impact.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in programme design and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in programme management, preferably in a development or agriculture-related field.
  • At least 4-6 years' experience of capacity building, programme delivery and partnership Management.
  • Master's degree, or equivalent higher education qualification, in a relevant field such as agriculture, rural development, or environmental science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
