About this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting process, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), supporting month-end and year-end closing, statutory audits, and contributing to process automation and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and internal policies
  • Coordinating and supporting statutory and group audits
  • Supporting tax, and regulatory reporting requirements across different jurisdictions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate financial data and reporting
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and reporting
  • Assisting in implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and automation tools

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) certification with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and accounting best practices
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Advanced skills in Excel and comfort with automation tools / reporting platforms
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
