Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role

This is a senior financial management position that requires expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. The role involves supervising key financial functions, including cash flow monitoring, profitability assessment, expense management, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications, such as ACCA certification or related fields, and have a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a technology firm or similar environment.

Familiarity with ERP systems, including QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and others, is essential. Experience with taxation, petty cash handling, team management, Excel skills, and regulatory compliances are also required.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating teams, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with US taxes and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Develop a strategic and long-term business plan, prepare periodic financial statements, review and analyze financial metrics, and provide recommendations for decision-making.
  2. Expense Management: Monitor cash flow, determine profitability, manage expenses, and produce accurate financial information.
  3. Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial reporting journal entries, deliverables, and ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify process improvements, lead efficiency projects, and enhance organizational performance.
  5. Team Leadership: Motivate and lead teams, support decisions with financial information, and participate in ad-hoc analyses and reports.
  6. Cash Forecasting: Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to meet working capital needs.
  7. Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing of books and develop revenue recognition rules according to relevant accounting standards.
  8. Chart of Accounts: Collaborate in designing a functional chart of accounts.
