Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing migration strategies for Teradata Vantage migration projects. Your expertise will be invaluable as you work closely with customers and technical leads to understand their existing ecosystem and develop tailored solutions.

You will work on various migration projects, ensuring code quality and functional validations. Your ability to collaborate with technical leads will ensure that solutions are implemented according to design specifications. Additionally, you will provide input on alternate solutions in case of performance or technical feasibility issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop migration strategies for Teradata Vantage migration projects
  • Work with customers and technical leads to understand existing ecosystems and develop tailored solutions
  • Ensure code quality and functional validations
  • Collaborate with technical leads to implement solutions according to design specifications

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2+ years of IT work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Data Analytics related experience
  • Hands-on experience with at least one ETL tool like Informatica, DataStage, Talend etc.
  • Strong RDBMS concepts and SQL writing skills
  • Knowledge of Hadoop components such as HDFS, Hive, Spark etc.
