Product Owner Role Summary

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of embedded systems, product lifecycle management, and experience working with consumer electronics or industrial IoT products.

This position requires a strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements into clear, actionable product work.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Agile environments is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of product innovation, end-to-end development, and successful product delivery.
  • Serve as the Product Owner for Scrum teams, ensuring a clear product vision, roadmap, and well-aligned priorities.
  • Translate business goals into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and continuously groom the product backlog to ensure a steady pipeline of prioritized work.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, design, and hardware teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodologies.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of firmware development cycles, testing frameworks, and hardware-software integration challenges.
  • Proven experience as a PO working on embedded/hardware-centric products.
