DevOps Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to contribute to the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and IT infrastructure.

  • Implementing testing, development, automation tools, and IT infrastructures
  • Selecting and deploying CI/CD tools and performing configuration management
  • Defining test, development, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
  • Building continuous integration, development, and deployment pipelines
  • Reviewing, verifying, and validating software codes developed in the project
  • Maintaining monitoring stacks and improving cloud infrastructure
  • Conducting system troubleshooting and fixing code bugs
  • Monitoring development processes and creating new processes to minimize waste
  • Promoting automated processes wherever feasible
  • Enhancing IT infrastructure security by identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures
  • Performing incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Maintaining coordination and communication within the team
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and productivity of our IT systems.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Experience designing and deploying production-grade software
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to navigate and administer Linux operating systems
  • Understanding on how to scale server-side applications depending on load
  • Demonstrated application of software engineering best practices
  • Experience working on Agile teams using the Scrum method
