Job Title: Taxation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in managing taxation for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and tax law, with expertise in processing tax deposits, deductions, and returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns, including withholding tax, advance tax, and sales tax/FED statements/returns.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Manage corporate tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, consultants, and lawyers.
  • Maintain accurate records of taxation-related activities, ensuring seamless reconciliation of indirect and direct tax ledgers.
Requirements:
  • CA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, MBA, or Masters in Finance or Taxation degree.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and time management skills.
  • Negotiator, self-starter, assertive, team player, highly punctual, and able to resolve conflicts without compromising on job objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of Income Tax Ordinance, 2011, Sales Tax Act, Federal Excise Act, and related circulars and its interpretation.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments.
