Job Title: Trade Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide input to the Global Business Operations Head in developing the strategy and operational plan for the Trade Governance Department, ensuring alignment with the bank's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • To lead the development and implementation of policies, controls, and protocols related to Trade Operations across the bank, promoting a standardized approach to executing transactions, reporting, risk management, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • To assess gaps in the Trade Governance framework due to changes in regulatory requirements or the bank's objectives, identifying areas for improvement.
  • To develop and revise policies and procedures for Trade Operations, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • To make recommendations on deviation cases related to Trade Operations, where policy parameters or standard operating procedures are breached.
  • To conduct regular visits to Trade Hubs to evaluate factors impacting the Trade Governance framework, providing guidance to improve operations.
  • To oversee the execution of operational processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

As a Trade Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the Trade Governance Department and implementing strategies that promote a culture of compliance and risk management. You will work closely with the Global Business Operations Head to ensure alignment with the bank's objectives and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
