Job Description

As a senior backend developer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems that drive business growth. You will work with an agile team of developers to shape the future of our platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.
  • Writing secure, maintainable code that powers our platform and provides real-time visibility into company assets.
  • Building and implementing scalable design choices for API interfaces to work across internal and external applications and services.
  • Actively working on our cloud infrastructure.
  • Mentoring and learning from developers within the engineering organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Affinity for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read.
  • Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models.
  • Experience in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar languages.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Postgres or MySQL.
  • Experience building for cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds.
