We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of full-stack development experience, with 4+ years leading backend architecture and deployment for production web applications.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing a Node.js (v16+) and Express backend with RESTful APIs to manage submission CRUD operations, user roles (Applicant, Reviewer, Approver, Admin), and admin features per Product Requirements Document (PRD) specifications.
  • The engineer will design and optimize MongoDB Atlas schemas for submissions, user data, and state transitions, implementing AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, and supporting scalability for 1k submissions/instance via queues.
  • The candidate will develop JWT-based authentication (24-hour expiry) with multi-role logic (e.g., no Applicant + government role overlap), integrating with frontend endpoints for secure access control.
  • The engineer will build backend logic for submission state transitions (e.g., Draft → Submitted → Approved), overdue flagging (7+ days with orange HEX #FD7E14 triggers), mock AI scoring (1-10 per section), and PDF generation triggers via html2pdf.js.
