About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Professional to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in designated areas, delivering exceptional customer service, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets in designated areas.
  • Provide technical support to customers across various segments, focusing on paint application expertise.
Accountabilities
  1. Sales Performance
    • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
  2. Technical Services
    • Collaborate with suppliers for technical assistance and information, particularly for the decorative segment.
    • Assist senior management in equipment selection and paint manufacturing process optimization for local plants.
    • Resolve daily operational issues in consultation with regional sales managers.
    • Report abnormal problems to senior management as required.
    • Handle customer complaints related to heavy-duty, industrial, and floor coatings, as well as decorative paints.
    • Ensure adherence to proper paint/coatings application procedures on large-scale projects.
    • Support product development and testing of decorative, industrial, and floor coatings products.
  3. Business Development
    • Contribute to new customer acquisition and stay informed about competitor activities.
  4. Customer Relations
    • Nurture customer relationships and conduct regular visits to prospective clients.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
    • Gather information on tender documents and business participation opportunities.
    • Generate orders from customers and ensure timely delivery.
    • Furnish sales tax invoices to customers on schedule.
    • Address customer complaints as directed by senior management.
  5. Debtors Management
    • Collections are made according to invoice terms.
    • Maintain a record of debtors, including age analysis and outstanding nature (sales invoices, withholding tax, earnest money, etc.).
    • Regularly follow up and keep debtors within approved credit limits.
    • Settle outstanding issues as advised by senior management.
  6. Reporting / Record Keeping
    • Inform management about regional competition activity.
    • Prepare position reports on outstanding matters and deliver them to senior management.
    • Monitor stock levels of original equipment manufacturer customers and report updates to senior management.
  7. Other
    • Perform any additional tasks assigned by higher management.
    Requirements
  • Graduate degree in chemistry or business administration.
  • Pleasant personality and strong communication skills.
  • At least two years of experience in sales, focusing on heavy-duty, industrial, marine, and floor coatings.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, with excellent expression and business development skills.
  • Valid driving license.
