About the Role

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to join our team and drive the development of our Airport Community System (ACS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology strategy and system development, with a proven track record of leading major ICT transformation programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving the next-generation technology stack for ACS, ensuring data management and governance are key drivers.
  • Supporting the design, development, and implementation of ACS, working closely with the Digital Transformation Office to create a structured project plan with defined timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Establishing and managing the enterprise architecture framework, covering business, data, application, technology, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Creating and enforcing technology standards, best practices, and quality assurance mechanisms to ensure system reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing new demands, change requests, and system enhancements, ensuring risk documentation and communication to relevant stakeholders before sign-off.
  • Reviewing and improving the change request mechanism in collaboration with stakeholders and overseeing its implementation.
  • Developing a detailed work plan, ensuring smooth implementation of system across Pakistan at major airports handling commercial cargo operations.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between ACS and other applications in PSW ecosystem, resolving issues on priority.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or Software Development.
  • At least 14 years of progressively responsible experience in technology leadership roles, including 7 years at an executive level in a similar organization.
  • Prior experience as a Senior Technologist in a multinational company or large-scale public/private sector enterprise preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading major ICT transformation programs.
  • Strong ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Expertise in solution architecture, including Kubernetes, JSON, APIs, Microservices Architecture, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of technology capability models and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Professional IT certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Industry visionary with a passion for technology and innovation.
  • In-depth knowledge of web system architecture, design, and development.
  • Hands-on experience with complex project management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
