SYSTEMS MANAGER (Karachi)
A very well reputed and established country-wide educational institution is looking for a Systems Manager in Karachi for its Computer Department of a huge library with a wireless network, Sun Solaris & Compaq servers, and Oracle 6 and Oracle 10 database environment.

Job Specification
  1. Strong experience in analysis, design, application development, and production support using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Developer Forms and Reports.
  2. Strong working and conceptual knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms and Reports, Java.
  3. Application development in Visual Basic/.NET or Java etc. with Oracle as backend database.
  4. Experience in Oracle Forms and Reports 10g to develop user interfaces and customized Forms and Reports based on user requirements for Oracle Applications.
  5. Experienced in Application Server & comfortable working with testing, debugging, and deployment of applications.
  6. Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, specification, software and database administration, development, maintenance, testing, and documentation.
  7. Working experience on LAN, Unix/Linux, Sun Solaris server.
  8. Support and training of fellow colleagues.
  9. Ability to work well with the team, good team member.
  10. Ability to work on own initiative, self-starter.
  11. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
