Premium Quality Assurance Professional

About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished quality assurance specialist to assume responsibility for ensuring product excellence throughout all stages of production. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing stringent quality standards and driving corrective and preventive actions.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Implement, monitor, and maintain quality procedures, standards, and specifications across all production stages, ensuring alignment with company policies and customer requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections for raw materials, in-process components, final products, and pre-delivery warehouse checks, ensuring compliance with defined acceptance/rejection criteria.
  3. Manage timely testing and documentation, ensuring accurate records of inspection reports, deviations, and rework logs are maintained and analyzed.
  4. Coordinate with production, design, SCM, and other departments to proactively address quality deviations and implement timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  5. Liaise with suppliers on material quality issues, participate in supplier audits, and support resolution of non-compliance through feedback and quality improvements.
  6. Ensure regular calibration of all QC instruments, maintain updated calibration certificates, and verify measurement accuracy during inspections.
  7. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), analyze root causes of rejections or reworks (internal/external), and track resolution effectiveness.
  8. Conduct periodic site visits to assess product performance and suggest process improvements aligned with customer expectations and international standards.
  9. Maintain and update all QC documentation, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and organizational requirements.
  10. Supervise and train QC inspectors, allocate daily tasks, support performance evaluations, and contribute to recruitment and capability development of the QA/QC team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Wood Technology or related discipline)
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) will be a strong advantage
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in quality control/assurance within the furniture or wood manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes and woodworking materials (MDF, solid wood, veneer, etc.)
  • Familiarity with QA tools (e.g., root cause analysis, Pareto charts, CAPA)
  • Proficiency in handling QC instruments and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for supplier coordination
  • Ability to lead and coach quality teams
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and audit protocols
