We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer to join our team.

About the Role

This position is responsible for creating engaging and user-centered experiences through effective UI design, development, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, as well as expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework for frontend-backend integration.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement interactive UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content seamlessly.
  • Conduct UI/UX audits to identify usability and accessibility improvements.
  • Create intuitive designs and wireframes to enhance user journeys.
  • Ensure brand consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling.
  • Maintain, customize, and troubleshoot October CMS-based projects.
  • Implement design changes and content updates in coordination with the Marketing & Communications team.
Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework for frontend-backend integration.
  • Hands-on experience with October CMS or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other responsive frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of human-centered design principles.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into interactive design solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, Frontend Development, or Web Technologies will be an added advantage.
  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in UI/UX development and frontend optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience in website redesign and responsive design projects.
  • Previous work with October CMS and Laravel is highly preferred.
