Job Title: Multilingual Content Specialist

This is a key role that requires proficiency in both Chinese and English. The selected candidate will be responsible for translating internal company documents, information, website content, etc. from source language into Chinese.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Chinese and English language and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translation: Translate internal company documents, marketing materials, product descriptions, etc. from source language into Chinese.
  • Localization: Responsible for the Chinese translation and localization of the company's website and social media content.
  • Communication: Communicate with other departments in the company to ensure that the translation content is accurate and in line with the company's style and requirements.
  • Quality Control: Review and proofread the translated content to ensure its accuracy and consistency.
  • Interpretation: Provide interpretation services when needed to support internal company and client meetings.
  • Terminology Management: Continuously update and maintain the company's terminology database and translation memory.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above, preferably in linguistics, translation, Chinese and other related majors.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Chinese translation. Applicants with industry background are preferred.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English, and familiar with the cultural differences between Chinese and English.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using translation software (such as Trados, MemoQ, etc.) and office software (such as Microsoft Office suite).
  • Social Skills: Have good communication skills, teamwork spirit and time management skills.
  • Attitude: Have a strong sense of responsibility and a meticulous and serious work attitude.
