Sustainability Educator

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative education and sustainable development in Pakistan. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong academic background in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, along with significant experience in environmental education and sustainability.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing educational programs with an environmental focus, as well as excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver innovative courses and workshops on environmental education and sustainability for various degree and non-degree programs;
  • Lead policy advocacy initiatives to promote sustainable practices in education and the broader community;
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate environmental education into broader curricula;
  • Develop and implement community-based programs to address pressing environmental issues;
  • Build partnerships with public and private sector organizations to drive environmental advocacy initiatives;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Education, or a related field;
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing educational programs with an environmental focus;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse stakeholders;
  • Experience in activism or grassroots initiatives addressing environmental challenges;
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and tools for blended and online learning;
  • A deep understanding of Pakistan's environmental context and educational needs;
  • Passion for driving change through education and engagement.
