Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer with strong expertise in cloud computing to design, automate, and optimize our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent tools.
  • Ensure reusable, consistent, and automated provisioning of environments.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate delivery cycles.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking fundamentals including VPCs, NAT gateways, subnets, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and load balancers.
  • Implement security best practices including access control, secrets management, and firewall policies.
  • Support compliance efforts (e.g., PCI/HIPAA) where required.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using cloud-based services.
  • Ensure proactive issue detection and performance optimization.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripts.
  • Improve efficiency and reliability of infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
  • Work with containerized application deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Use Helm charts for Kubernetes workload management.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and AI engineers to streamline engineering practices.
  • Take ownership of engineering initiatives and provide technical leadership to ensure best practices.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise with cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to take ownership of initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with serverless architecture is a plus.
