Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure the quality and compliance of advanced wound care products. This involves conducting routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  2. Performing various tests (e.g., sterility, moisture content, tensile strength) on wound care products, documenting results accurately.
  3. Maintaining precise records of QC activities, including inspection results, test data, and non-conformity reports; preparing reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  4. Ensuring that all QC procedures meet GMP, ISO, and local regulatory standards relevant to wound dressing manufacturing.
  5. Overseeing the calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy in testing.
  6. Collaborating with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot quality issues, provide feedback, and support process improvements.
  7. Identifying areas for improvement in QC procedures and contributing to implementing enhanced quality systems.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing environment.
  3. Familiarity with wound care products, sterilization processes (e.g., Electron Beam, Gamma Radiation), and GMP/ISO standards.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  2. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
