IT Audit Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Manager to join our team. As an IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the IT audit function and ensuring that our IT systems and processes are secure, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of our IT controls, including information systems confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Determine exposure to risks and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and strengthening of internal controls.
  • Implement strategic priorities in the Internal Audit Function's independent capacity.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the risk management and internal control system as well as the operational processes.
  • Assess and evaluate action plans to ensure that risk factors and events are addressed in a cost-effective manner and in line with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in IT auditing, a deep understanding of IT systems and processes, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • CISA/CISM/CIA certification is required, along with a postgraduate degree in business or finance from a recognized university.
  • At least 10 years of experience in audit, preferably in a banking environment, with a minimum of 5+ years at supervisory/managerial level.
  • A high caliber person with a proven track record of managing and interacting with senior management and regulators.
