Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records in compliance with international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Companies Ordinance 1984.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including meeting deadlines for financial statements and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of accounting and related system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and supervise daily routine tasks of staff, including verifying purchases, journal vouchers, bank receipts, and payments.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, including reviewing and resolving auditor's observations.
  • Manage taxation issues, including preparing and submitting income tax and sales tax returns.
  • Develop and implement accounting control procedures and other company policies and procedures related to the department.
  • Provide support for budget and forecast activities, including supervising funds/cash flow forecast reporting procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Professional ethics and integrity.
