Job Title
IT Infrastructure Engineer

As a skilled IT infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale server environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine business needs and evaluate existing infrastructure and systems.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and monitoring of virtualized environments.
  • Configure high availability settings and troubleshoot issues within these environments.
  • Install, configure, and administer servers running Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Implement and manage storage area network (SAN) switches.
  • Deploy and monitor vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Prepare disaster recovery sites, rack mount servers, install, and configure them.
  • Monitor data centers, rack mount new servers, install, and manage them.
  • Evaluate the health and capacity of storage systems (SAN) and implement proper management practices.
  • Maintain security and compliance across all data center systems.
  • Administer Linux services and processes.
  • Manage Linux and Windows storage and partitions.
  • Schedule Linux jobs using cron and bash scripting.
  • Configure Nginx as a reverse proxy server.
  • Perform system maintenance deployments as needed.
  • Implement and manage privileged access management (PAM).
  • Work with endpoint management tools like Ivanti and Intune.
  • Use endpoint protection software such as Microsoft Defender.
  • Manage backups using Veeam and Data Domain.
  • Develop proficiency in containerization using Docker.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or similar field.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP), certified Windows and Linux administrator preferred.
  • Proficiency in server deployment, VMware ESXi, VRealize Operations, SAN, Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, VEEAM for backup and recovery management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • 4 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
