Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned retail professional to drive business growth and success in our showroom. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and exceeding sales targets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor sales activities to deliver exceptional customer service and quality products.
  • Regularly tour the sales floor to engage with colleagues and customers, identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Maximize profitability by meeting sales targets and leveraging data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Design and implement effective promotional materials and displays.
  • Analyze sales trends to forecast future sales and inform strategic planning.
  • Retain existing customers and attract new ones through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee stock control and pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
  • Manage statistical and financial records to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Participate in special projects as required by the General Manager BD.
  • Address staffing issues through interviewing, appraisals, performance reviews, training, and development.
  • Maintain high standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety.
  • Organize engaging promotions, displays, and events to attract and retain customers.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to remain competitive.
  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in management sciences or related field is preferred, but a master's degree holder from HEC recognized universities is highly valued.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of similar experience in handling retail outlet/showroom operations.
  • Pleasant and confident personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, IT, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to effectively handle client demands and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
