Job Overview

The role of Communications and Media Specialist is a pivotal position within an organization focused on energy efficiency and conservation. This professional will oversee and coordinate all aspects of communications and media outreach, encompassing event planning, content development, and strategic partnerships.

This key position requires exceptional communication skills, creativity, and the ability to drive impactful campaigns that promote energy efficiency and conservation across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to sensitize stakeholders about energy efficiency and conservation.
  • Create standardized templates for internal and external communications, including branding guidelines and reporting frameworks.
  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars on energy efficiency topics in collaboration with relevant academic institutions and organizations.
  • Promote the organization's work through print and electronic media, as well as social media platforms.
  • Develop awareness campaigns and content for radio and television broadcasts in local languages.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives by reviewing progress reports and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a relevant discipline from a reputable university recognized by HEC.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are advantageous.

Experience

  • A minimum of 4-6 years' experience, with three years in energy efficiency and related fields.

Location

  • This position is based in Islamabad.

Duration

  • The contract period is six months.
