Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing critical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of an organization's network infrastructure.

The successful candidate will assist senior engineers in designing, implementing, and managing network solutions while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, etc.).
  • Monitoring network performance and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Supporting network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  • Documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaboration with IT teams to resolve network-related issues and optimize performance.
  • Assistance in network upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
  • Maintenance and enforcement of network policies and procedures.
  • Staying updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
  • Familiarity with networking hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
  • Understanding of network security principles.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, PRTG).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
