Foster Strategic Partnerships in Retail
We seek a skilled professional to lead business growth in the retail segment, emphasizing customer relationships and market insights.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with territory operations, have experience working under an MNC environment, and possess a strong understanding of both retail and institutional channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in territory planning by providing market environment insights and estimating demand.
- Prepare and execute monthly visit plans with specific objectives.
- Review sales, provide forecasts, and report on stock and promotional material status.
- Ensure timely submission of reports.
- Develop knowledge of customers, accounts, and HCPs in the assigned territory.
- Enhance product, disease, market knowledge, and promotion skills.
- Support and execute promotional campaigns using approved materials and provide feedback.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and monitoring stock/expiry at customer and distributor levels.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including HCPs, hospitals, and trade outlets.
- Collect market feedback, build product advocacy, and implement sales schemes.
- Focus on channel sales and direct sales, with approximately 70% focus on retail and 30% on hospitals/institutions.
Channel Management and Market Insights
- Monitor distributor performance and communicate regularly.
- Handle concerns and suggestions professionally.
- Ensure sufficient and timely stock availability.
- Assist in arranging diabetes awareness sessions in coordination with stakeholders.
- Support organization of diabetes and product awareness sessions.
Responsibilities
- Follow SHE programs, procedures, and instructions diligently.
- Report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately and wear your badge at all times on-site.
- Inform your manager if unsure about any SHE-related situation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A graduate degree in any discipline and passion for sales and client relationship management.
- A minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Pharmaceuticals, OTC, or Medical Devices.
- Experience working with competitors or in MNC environments is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Territory Manager or similar role and familiarity with the Karachi market are preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer savvy and confident using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
