Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The IMS Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) compliant with ISO 9001, 22301, 14001, and 45001 standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IMS principles, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of IMSs that align with international quality, environmental, health and safety, and business continuity management standards.
  • Ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in implementing and maintaining IMS.
  • Develop and refine policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the IMS and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with quality, continuity, environment, and occupational health and safety.
  • Communicate IMS performance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with employees and management to gather feedback and address concerns regarding IMS implementation.
  • Coordinate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in ISO standards (e.g., Lead Auditor / Implementor ISO 9001:2015, 22301, 45001, 14001).
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in implementing and managing QMS, preferably across ISO 9001, 22301, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Expertise in interpreting ISO standards and their practical application within diverse organizational contexts.
  • Proven track record in conducting internal and external audits, and managing certification processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and drive improvements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
