We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our technical support team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions and providing top-notch technical support to our customers.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in backend software development, with a focus on Java and REST APIs. You will work closely with our product management team to identify and prioritize feature requests, and collaborate with our cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Java 8 or later, including Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • RESTful API design and implementation
  • SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Containerization using Docker
  • Cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
  • Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in backend software development
  • Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
