Restaurant owners in the US face numerous challenges. They work long hours to manage their businesses, using multiple software systems and platforms to operate their online ordering, marketing, and customer relationships.
This can be overwhelming, especially for those who are not technically savvy. It often leads to additional operating costs and requires hiring someone to run these systems, further increasing expenses.
The Customer Support Team aims to alleviate this burden by addressing customer queries and complaints promptly and escalating them to relevant teams internally. This will significantly reduce turnaround times and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Interfacing between restaurants and internal teams to resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
- Documenting issues with thorough understanding of causes and implications.
- Investigating critical issues and interacting with customers as necessary.
- Utilizing the platform to assist restaurants with time-sensitive operational tasks.
Our ideal candidate possesses the following skills, prioritized:
- Fluent command of formal, conversational, and colloquial English.
- Excellent people skills for establishing and managing relationships with restaurant owners.
- Emotional intelligence.
- Knowledge of US cultural sensitivities.
We do not expect candidates to possess all these competencies; however, strong English language skills and people skills are essential.
Our ideal candidate should have a good understanding, at least, and some command of the following technical skills:
- Experience in a support role, preferably in the US market.
- Data analytics.
- Reporting and Documentation.
While prior experience is beneficial, we prioritize candidates with a background or knowledge in marketing.
Required Experience Level: 1-2 years of professional experience.
