About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join our team. As an SEO Specialist, you'll play a critical role in driving organic traffic to our website through effective on-page and off-page techniques.

This is a dynamic environment that requires continuous learning, fine-tuning skills, and experimenting with new strategies to stay ahead in the ever-changing search algorithms landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute SEO Strategies: Create and implement optimization plans to increase our website's search engine results rankings.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Conduct regular performance metric analysis using tools like Google Analytics to understand SEO strategy effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing efforts.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Continuously research and implement search engine optimization recommendations to maintain our competitive edge.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Google and Bing services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.
  • Proven success in link building and viral marketing strategies.
  • The ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy.
  • A deep understanding of mobile strategy and its relation to SEO.
