Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the development and implementation of our organization's data strategy. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles and be able to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data systems that meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives
2. Design and implement scalable data solutions using various technologies such as data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time streaming platforms
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across the organization
4. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
5. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams on data-related topics
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of experience in data architecture or a related field
2. Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and design patterns
3. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
4. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
1. Experience with event-driven data flows (e.g., Kafka, Event Bridge)
2. Familiarity with SageMaker Feature Store and SageMaker Pipelines
3. Background in financial services, credit scoring, or mobile money ecosystems
4. Passion for building ethical, inclusive financial systems
