Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead our team in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of bookkeepers and overseeing the delivery of quality information to senior managers and other departments within the practice.
The role involves reviewing VAT returns, bookkeeping files, and supporting schedules. The ideal candidate should have excellent VAT knowledge, including cash accounting, partial exemption, flat rate scheme, margin scheme, export/import VAT and duty, and property rules.
Preparation of FRS 102 1A standard accounts and FRS 105 accounts is also a requirement. Additionally, the candidate should be able to produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven management and leadership skills are essential for this role. Strong organizational skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, and excellent written and oral communication skills are also required.
Excellent attention to detail, quality control, and analytical ability are necessary to ensure accurate and efficient work.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel is essential, and experience with Xero, Sage Line 50, and QuickBooks is desirable.
