Job Overview

This role involves acting as a liaison between finance business stakeholders and the IT organization. A professional with this position will design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions to drive financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complex business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders need to be analysed and documented.
  • Business requirements are translated into detailed functional specifications and effective SAP FICO configurations.
  • SAP FICO modules for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders need to be configured and customized.
  • Integration efforts with other SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Profitability Analysis require leadership.
  • Data flows between SAP FICO and peripheral systems like Business Planning and Consolidation and Esker for document automation must be managed.
  • Expert-level support is needed for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Collaboration with technical teams is necessary to specify requirements for development objects and perform rigorous functional testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in a full life-cycle implementation environment.
  • Deep hands-on configuration expertise within the SAP FICO module is required.
  • Strong experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules is expected.
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools is necessary.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
