Job Title: Financial Operations DirectorAbout the Role

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our finances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement effective financial planning and analysis processes to inform business decisions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management, including finalizing vouchers, managing bank transactions, and analyzing financial data to identify potential problems or risks.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Ensure timely completion of sales tax matters, including monthly returns submission, records management, and audits. Manage income tax matters, including annual taxable accounts, records, and audits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports on cash flows, budgets, bank positions, product castings, and expense details. Ensure timely completion of weekly and monthly returns, including Management Accounts.
  • Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate and registration matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise business operations and advise management on decision-making. Lead by example, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CA / ACCA/MBA (Finance)/ACMA)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management and leadership
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounts, finance, corporate, and taxation standards and laws
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA)
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
