Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Hungarian interpreter to join our team. As an interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent language skills in both English and Hungarian, as well as strong listening and speaking abilities. You will be required to interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, ensuring that all parties understand each other's needs and requirements.

Responsibilities include checking the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, handling confidential information, and liaising between service users and providers. A degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field is desirable, along with any interpreting-related qualifications. IELTS certification with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 is also required.

In this role, you will receive training and development opportunities in interpreting and translation. You will gain hands-on experience working in live interpretation settings across various sectors, including healthcare, law, education, and immigration. Our team offers mentorship and guidance from experienced linguists, providing insight into real-world communication challenges and professional interpretation standards.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian
