We are seeking a highly skilled interpreter and translator to fulfill various roles in translation services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide interpretation for individuals using legal, health and local government services.
  • Verify understanding of non-English speakers after each sentence or communication.
  • Conduct conference, consecutive and public service interpreting as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the service user and provider.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English or another language is essential.
  • A degree in English Language, Literature, ELT (English Language Teaching) or TESOL is preferred.
  • Any relevant interpreting qualification can be advantageous.
  • An IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest is necessary.
  • Compliance with a surety bond and Non-Disclosure Agreement is expected.

Training and Development opportunities are available for this role, along with mentorship and guidance from experienced linguists.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience working in live interpretation settings across sectors such as healthcare, law, education and immigration.
