Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

  • The role of the Network Infrastructure Specialist is to provide full-time support across Pakistan for planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure that meets current needs and future expansion plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in deployments across Pakistan.
  2. Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
  3. Handle JTAC and Cisco TAC cases.
  4. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Cisco and Juniper products using configuration tools.
  5. Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to implement network configurations, including subnetting, VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN deployment.
  6. Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks.
  7. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting network issues.
  8. Resolve connectivity problems, outages, or performance degradations.
  9. Work with team members to address customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  10. Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • Ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.

Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Technical certifications: JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA, CCNP.
