Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in their daily activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, to ensure timely and accurate financial representation.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports on a regular basis to maintain transparency and accountability within the organization.

  • Monitor and analyze hotel revenues, expenses, and profitability to identify areas for cost optimization and improve overall business performance.

  • Ensure adherence to taxation, audit requirements, and internal financial policies to uphold a positive business reputation.

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to inform strategic business decisions and drive revenue growth.

  • Review payroll, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments for accuracy and timely processing to maintain employee satisfaction and vendor relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Financial Operations Specialist or similar role in the hospitality/hotel industry, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial situations and provide effective solutions.

  • Strong leadership abilities and team management experience to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving business objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CA/CMA certification is an asset).
