Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in maintaining and updating internal audit documentation in compliance with IIA standards. 
  • Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit engagements across business functions. 
  • Evaluate the operational and financial performance of each line of business, including project-level profitability and cost-efficiency. 
  • Analyze related party transactions, ensure their compliance with regulatory frameworks, and report on them quarterly. 
  • Perform analytical and substantive testing related to budgeting, cost structures, receivables, and performance variances. 
  • Review quarterly financials and assess the adequacy of internal reporting mechanisms in line with IFRS and company policy. 
  • Conduct risk-based audits, report control deficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. 
  • Monitor implementation of corrective action plans arising from prior audits and ensure timely closure. 

Requirements

  • ACCA, CA Finalist, ICMA, or CIMA.
  • 2–3 years in internal audit, with 1–2 years of Big 4 experience preferred.  
  • Strong understanding of audit procedures, risk management, and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics tools, or tech-driven audit environments is a plus. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, tech-oriented environment.
