About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with proven experience in Xero accounting software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential to collaborate effectively with our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial transactions in Xero.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice preparation and processing.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts.

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist with budgeting.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.

  • Support payroll processing and expense claims.

  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members in clear, professional English.

  • Assist in audits and provide accurate documentation when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant.

  • Strong working knowledge of Xero software (certification is a plus).

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.

  • Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and basic office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Xero Advisor/Payroll Certification.

  • Experience working with international clients.

  • Background in preparing reports for management and external stakeholders.
