About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper / Accountant
to oversee our financial accounting and reporting operations. The ideal candidate will have
7+ years of professional experience
in bookkeeping, financial accounting, and QuickBooks management. This role requires a deep understanding of
Intuit platforms
, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a proven ability to maintain accurate, clean, and compliant financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks and other Intuit platforms.
  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations including
    accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
    .
  • Perform QuickBooks
    cleanups, reconciliations, and data accuracy audits
    .
  • Prepare and review
    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
    (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Conduct
    financial analysis
    and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Assist with
    budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    .
  • Liaise with auditors, accountants, and management for financial reviews and reporting.

Requirements

  • QuickBooks Certification
    (Online or Desktop) is required.
  • 7+ years
    of hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Intuit and QuickBooks cleanups
    .
  • Advanced
    Excel skills
    for data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with
    US GAAP
    and small business accounting standards preferred.

  • Prior experience managing books for
    multiple entities or clients

  • Experience with
    cloud-based accounting systems
    and remote collaboration tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and effectively.
